Shipping & Delivery Policy
This Shipping and Delivery Policy ("Policy") sets out the terms and conditions under which The Crown Trimmer ("we", "us", "our") processes, dispatches, and delivers orders placed through our website and associated sales channels.
This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and must be read in conjunction with our Returns & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. By placing an order with The Crown Trimmer, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this Policy.
We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be published on our website and will apply to all orders placed after the date of publication.
2.1 Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). Orders received after 14:00 GMT/BST may be processed on the following business day.
2.2 Upon successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when your order is dispatched.
2.3 You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of ordering — including your full name, delivery address, and payment details — is accurate and complete. The Crown Trimmer accepts no liability for failed or delayed deliveries arising from errors in information provided by the customer.
2.4 Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be amended or cancelled. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
3.1 Subject to Clause 3.2, all orders will be delivered within one (1) to five (5) business days from the date of dispatch.
3.2 All delivery timeframes are estimates only and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery date. The Crown Trimmer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from a failure to deliver within the estimated timeframe where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

3.3 Delivery timeframes may be extended during peak trading periods (including Christmas, Easter, and promotional events). We will endeavour to communicate anticipated delays via our website and order confirmation emails.
4.1 Delivery charges, where applicable, are calculated at checkout based on the selected delivery service, destination, and order details. All charges are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
4.2 Promotional free delivery offers are subject to minimum order values and/or specific conditions. These offers may be withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
4.3 We reserve the right to amend our delivery charges at any time. Any changes will be clearly displayed at checkout prior to completion of your order.
4.4 Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless a return is initiated due to a confirmed product defect or an error on our part.
5.1 It is your sole responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address at the time of placing your order. The Crown Trimmer shall not be liable for non-delivery or delayed delivery resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer.
5.2 If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to absence or inaccessibility, the carrier will leave a notification advising next steps. You may be required to arrange redelivery or collect your parcel from a designated collection point within the carrier's specified timeframe.
5.3 If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you. You may request redelivery — subject to an additional delivery charge — or a refund of the product value only. Original delivery charges will not be refunded.
6.1 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address specified in your order. Once delivered, the goods are your responsibility.
6.2 Legal title (ownership) in the goods passes to you only upon receipt of full cleared payment, including any applicable delivery charges.
6.3 The Crown Trimmer accepts no responsibility for goods that are lost, stolen, or damaged after confirmed delivery to the specified address.
7.1 You must inspect your order upon receipt. If goods arrive visibly damaged, you must notify us in writing at support@thecrowntrimmer.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery, including your order number and clear photographic or video evidence of the damage. Failure to notify us within this period may affect your right to a remedy.
7.2 If your tracking information shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it, you must contact us within five (5) business days of the stated delivery date. Claims made outside this window may not be eligible for resolution.
7.3 If your order has not arrived within ten (10) business days of the estimated delivery date, please contact us to initiate a carrier investigation. In accordance with Royal Mail and carrier guidelines, a parcel will not be deemed officially lost until a minimum of fifteen (15) business days have elapsed from the date of dispatch.
7.4 The Crown Trimmer shall not be responsible for parcels lost, stolen, or damaged as a result of instructions given by the customer to the carrier — for example, instructions to leave the parcel in an unsecured or unattended location.
8.1 Where we fulfil international orders, delivery timeframes will vary by destination and are estimates only. International orders may be subject to customs clearance procedures which are outside our control and may cause delays.
8.2 Any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer. The Crown Trimmer is not liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of customs or import regulations.
8.3 We reserve the right to restrict or suspend delivery to certain countries or regions at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
9.1 The Crown Trimmer shall not be in breach of this Policy, nor liable for any delay or failure in performance, resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to: acts of God, governmental restrictions, industrial disputes, extreme weather events, pandemics, or disruption to carrier or postal networks.
9.2 In the event of a force majeure situation, we will notify affected customers as soon as reasonably practicable and will endeavour to fulfil orders as quickly as circumstances allow.
10.1 Nothing in this Policy shall affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any other applicable UK legislation.
10.2 Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods without giving any reason, subject to the conditions set out in our Returns & Refund Policy. This right does not apply to sealed hygiene products that have been opened after delivery.
